The other secret

Stuart McGill was the first non-American CEO of one of the world’s largest companies, Exxon Company International. He attributed his success to a secret he shared with me in an extraordinary encounter over 25 years ago. I’d never heard anything like it before. It changed my life and the way I think about everything. I’ve been using it several times a day every day ever since.

Jack Niklaus used the same secret to become world golf champion. He never told anyone until well after he retired and even then only his clients. Even today, hardly any sportsmen or coaches know about it and those who do, keep it to themselves.

Michael Queen was given the task of turning Northern Rock around after the bank’s collapse. After hearing McGill and Niklaus’s secret, he was able to stabilise Northern Rock and shortly after became CEO of 3i, one of Britain’s 100 largest companies. He wrote of the advice I shared with him: “The most succinct, useful and effective training I’ve ever encountered”

I’ll be sharing this knowledge at my next free ‘Positive Mind Training’ webinar. See www.abicord.com/positive-mind-training for more info and to register.

Richard came to see me with an anxiety problem. He’d become so anxious, his wife had to make the appointment. I taught him a technique based on McGill and Niklaus’s secret. A week later his anxiety had disappeared.

Mike and Sue had marital problems. They argued all the time and hadn’t been intimate for years. In their first session I shared some ideas based on McGill and Niklaus’s secret. Within a week the couple’s relationship had radically changed.

I’ve shared this knowledge with thousands through my ‘Positive Mind Trainings’ one-to-one work and executive coaching. On a 0 to 10 satisfaction and effectiveness scale, where 10 in the most satisfied and effective person you can imagine, almost everyone has moved up three or more points (where there was room on the scale). Several have moved from 3 to 10, most from 6, 7, 8 or 9 … to 9 or 10. The changes have since been sustained or further improved.

This is not NLP. I’m a qualified NLP trainer, but don’t use NLP in my trainings, unless I’m specifically asked by an organisational client. These techniques are hugely more powerful than NLP.

If you can’t make it to one of Abicord’s free webinars, contact us to request a recording.

I look forward to welcoming you.
